Charles M. Ritley opened this appraisal company over half a century ago in the year 1958. Roger D. Ritley, MAI, CRE, ASA soon joined the company. That was over 40 years ago. With the benefit of a father's tutelage, as well as his undergraduate and graduate degrees in land use, geography, spatial economics, investment analysis and appraisal set him on a path to becoming a nationaly recognized leader in the appraisal field.
Charles M. Ritley Associates LLC is a fifty three year old firm that presently employs nine persons, seven of whom are directly engaged in real estate appraisal, analysis and counseling. The firms assignments have taken its staff to all parts of the continental United States. Our work for lenders, public agencies and private entities has ranged from single to multiple parcel appraisals in Ohio and out of state. The officers and members of this firm hold the Appraisal Institutes highest designations (MAI and SRA), as well as accreditations from other professional groups and state certifications. As many references as may be required can be furnished upon request.
Each year the firm typically completes 250 to 300 assignments which annually involves total capital values in excess of one billion dollars. Our assignments involve many property types and property rights issues including developable land, surface and subsurface rights, single, multi family and mixed use residential, retail including free-standing, strip, open and enclosed shopping malls, restaurants, automobile sales and service facilities, as well as office and industrial properties ranging from 10,000 square feet to over 1 million square feet in each of these catagories.
Over the years our client base has grown to include institutions such as hospitals and universities. In addition the company as served the needs of Fortune 500 corporations, conduit lenders, REITS, pension funds and other institutional investors and developers from all parts of the United States. The firm also contracts services to individuals, private investors and businesses, non profits, federal, state, county and local units of government.
